First up today Bad Girl Ri Ri is on the new cover of tastemakers Vogue, talking about beauty, bodies and boys.
One of the boys in question is a certain Torontonian rapper and former beau of Rihanna’s; Drake.
“We don’t have a friendship now but we’re not enemies either,” she told the fashion mag.
“It is what it is.”
Drake was clearly still hung up on the singer, referencing one of her tracks in his own song Diplomatic Immunity, earlier this year;
“2010 was when Iost my Halo / 2017 I lost a J. Lo.”
What a way to make two girls feel special, in one line.
Remember when Rihanna twerked into Drake on stage during a rather raunchy display at the 2016 Brits?
Well, it seems the singer, who is now reportedly seeing Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel, has now moved on.
Now after reaching a landmark age in February, are Rihanna’s wild thoughts starting to turn towards family matters other than just boys and work, work, work?
OK, so now that I’m 30, are there things I’m supposed to do? Should I be worried? Should I be freezing my eggs? What do you do at 30?!
Speculating on her potential pending motherhood, she added:
“I’m not gonna be able to take my eyes off my kid.
“I know that already about myself.
“They’re going to have to force me to hire a nanny.”
Barbadian Rihanna will release the follow-up to her 2016 album, Anti, this year, which is apparently inspired by another famous Caribbean singer; the late, great Bob Marley.
It’s been produced by Supa Dups, who has previously worked with reggae dance hall acts Beenie Man and Sean Paul.
Vogue asked her therefore to name her Bob Marley reggae faves and here’s what she plumped for;
“I’m gonna sound like a real tourist when I tell you my top Bob songs; Three Little Birds, No Woman, No Cry, and Redemption Song.”
Can’t argue with that.
